With only two regular season games remaining, Friday’s game between the Rockdale Tigers and Troy Trojans will be the key to deciding who will be king of the 11-3A district. Both teams stand 3-1 in district play and are tied with Lorena for first place. With a win, both teams draw one step closer to claiming a district championship.
“To be the man you’ve got to beat the man, and Troy has been the man over us for the last two years,” RHS Head Coach Jacob Campsey said. “They are a super big and physical team. We probably have the edge in team speed, but they can certainly keep up. They have an elite running back and they always play well at home.”
