The 2019 UIL Class 2A state track and field champions were honored at Milano High School’s pep rally this past Friday. Standing with their championship rings from left to right: Coach David Westrbrook, Devonte Jones, Parker Jones, Marquise Jones, Drew Demeritt, Christian Thurman and Gus Downey. Not picture was Kathen Funburg. Devonte Jones and Parker Jones were also a big part of the 2018 state champion team.
