Rockdale Junior High football teams struggled in their games with Cameron this past Thursday.

The combined seventh and eighth grade “B” team fell short against the Yoe, 7-0.

According to coach Eric Willard, Brayden Knoblock was the team’s offensive standout and Fernando Pacheco and Tyrell Mitchell stood out on defense.

The seventh grade “A” team fell, 40- 0. Standouts on offense were Felix Sanchez and Slayde Harris. Cesar Rodriguez and Gage Skrhak stood out on defense.

The eighth grade “A” team also struggled across the Littler River, losing 44-6. Standouts on offense were Greyson Williams, Colton Schlottman and Jeramiah Butler. Defensive standouts were Emiliano Otero, Zachary Muston and Kendrick Henderson.

RJH football players return home this Thursday to host Academy.

The first game is scheduled for 5 p.m.
