Rockdale Junior High tennis players racked up multiple medals at the Thrall tournament this weekend.
De’Andre Nunn and Netise Trejo won the eighth grade mixed doubles division while classmates Mason Lillard and Brody Willard were champions in the boys doubles division.
Carly Lozano also took home gold in the seventh grade girls singles division and Greyson Williams won first in boys singles.
Other medalists were Kaylor Eschberger, Hally Simonton and Aubrey Zientek, who each won silver.
Zarriah Arvizu, Eduardo Rivera, Zeb Skrhak, Emiliano Tovar, Mariana Vargas, Payton Matula, Jaylyn Vrana, Zailenn Arvizu and Criss Ruelas all finished third in their respective divisions.
Rebekah Ammons and Eli Hairston were consolation winners. Jadon Moody, Olivia Kraft, Westyn Smith, Alexis Stewart, Trinity Hurd, Sarai Prince, Sebastian Lepe and Jameson Cox played but did not get to complete their matches due to inclement weather in Williamson County that afternoon.
RJH tennis plays in their district tournament on Saturday in Taylor.
