The “Wreck ’Em” tattoo is still good for former Rockdale Tiger football player Cam’Ron Valdez.
This Tiger great graduated in 2021 from RHS and went out to west Texas to continue his football career by playing for the Texas Tech Red Raiders.
Not too long ago unsatisfied with his playing time at Tech, Valdez entered the Transfer Por tal looking for a change in schools. Since then Valdez has made a decision to stay in Lubbock and keep the “Guns Up.” As a 5-foot-9, 203 pound sophomore this past year Valdez ran for 250 yards from 40 carries and had one touchdown. Valdez set the Rockdale High School record for career rushing yards while playing as a Tiger. He ran for 1,175 yards as a sophomore varsity player, 1,697 yards as a junior and 1,406 as a senior.
