The Rockdale Tiger basketball season will get started at 12-noon Saturday when they take on Bastrop in Tiger Gym.
Big Blue will then play Elgin on the road at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday before returning home to play Robinson at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 15.
Lady Tigers
Volleyball season was barely cold before basketball season took off.
The Rockdale Lady Tigers took their show on the road to neighboring Hearne and beat the Eagles 39-34.
Lady Tigers Head Basketball Coach Danielle Froggat shared, “We have only had two full practices, the team showed remarkable growth.”
STANDOUTS— Key players in thEe Rockdale victory were: Trinity Hurd with 14 points, 5 assists and Kyndal Selgelid with 13 points.
UP NEXT— The Lady Tigers varsity was set to play at home against Burton on Tuesday.
Then they will face Navasota in Tiger Gym at 6:15 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 12.
