Lady Tigers compete well in Caldwell
TEMPLE—The Rockdale track team finished in sixth place overall at last week’s Wildcat Relays.
Among the many standout performances is the first-place finish in the 200 meter by Tim Grice. Grice left his competition in the dust with a time of 22.5 seconds.
Grice, along with Tristan Galvan, Robert Owens and De’Andre Stephens finished fourth in the 4X100 meter relay.
Stephens, Galvan, along with Aiden Hirt and Scott Penny, finished sixth in the 4X400 meter relay.
Yovanney Delgadillo took fifth place in the 3,200-meter run.
In the field events, De’Andre Stephens finished second in the high jump. In the triple jump, Erik Sheppard placed fourth with teammate Robert Owens in fifth right behind him.
Sheppard also managed a second- place finish in the long jump with Nikiem Crawford coming in sixth.
LADY TIGERS— The Lady Tigers relay teams did well at the Caldwell meet last Thursday.
The 4X100 meter relay team of Jazalle Dunn, Raelynn Jackson, Georgia Woodard and Ciara Miles, and the 4X200 meter team of Dunn, Jackson, Miles and Taylor Delz both finished in third place of their respective races.
T’Niyah Miles placed in sixth in the shot put.
