STATE MEET— Rockdale Tiger freshman Jonathan Fuller ran Saturday in the state cross country meet held at the Old Settlers Park in Round Rock. He finished an amazing 70th out of 150 of the state’s best long distance runners. His time was 17.38 on the 5K course (3.1 miles). Head Tiger Cross Country Coach Cheryl Meuth said, “Jon has an amazing future ahead of himself. Making it to state is such a big accomplishment, but to finish in the top half as a freshman speaks a lot of his natural ability and talent.” Jonathan is the son of Noah and Lindsey Lillard.
