The Rockdale long distance team traveled to Belton recently.
The boys varsity squad—that includes Jonat ha n F u l ler, Alex Cooper, Austin Caldwell, Zeb Skrhak, Jess e Montelongo, Ayden Evans, Shawn Gerren, Emilano Tovar and Aaron Montelongo— finished in second place.
The varsity girls team of Milagros Cervantes, Daniela Bocanegra, Izabella Delgadillo, Aliana Ramos, Victoria Zientek and Naomi Medrano finished 12th out of 24 teams. Medalists were Jonathan Fuller (third), Alex C o op e r (s e venth) and Austin Caldwell (10th). Sub-varsit y leader s were Brayden Knoblock and Kaithlyn Shelander.
THIS WEEK— The Tigers will be traveling to Huntsville to compete in the Sam Houston State University Region III Preview on Saturday.
