Rockdale’s long distance crew ran last week in the Region III Preview held at Kate Barr Ross Park in Huntsville.
Head Cross Country Coach Cheryl Meuth reported all of her team was “competitive.”
“Austin Caldwell really stood out on the course for the varsity boys and dropped his time significantly since his last race there,” she said.
Freshman and varsity girls runner Milagros Cervantes was noted as making a “great showing” on the course - it was her first run at Huntsville.
There were lots of personal records for the varsity boys and no doubt there will be continued improvement for these runners.
