Rockdale traveled to Cameron earlier this week to compete in the district cross country meet.
The boys varsity (top right) and JV (bottom right) came home as champions. Both teams won the District 19-3A title.
Indivdual medalist on the boys varsity team were Jonathan Fuller, second place; Austin Fuller, third; Jesse Montelongo, eighth; Alex Cooper, 10th. Others on the championship team are Zeb Shrhak, Shawn Gerren and Emilano Tovar. The JV team includes Ayden Evans (second place), Brayden Knoblock (third), Aaron Montelongo (fourth), Kaiden Comacho (fifth), Chase Nadeau (ninth), Luke Olivares (10th), Jeremiah Watts, Sebastian Lepe and Parker Harrod.
Also girls freshman runner Milagros Cervantes qualified for regional with a sixth place finish.
