The Rockdale Tigers baseball team may be the team to beat this season.
The Tiger Train rolled all over a Hempstead team earlier this week in a home game. The final score was 10-0.
JV— The Rockdale JV also rolled to a victory over Hempstead, 8-0.
COMING UP— The Tigers are set to play in the Rosebud-Lott Tournament starting this Thursday.
Lady Tigers
The Rockdale Lady Tigers hosted the BVCHEA Home School Mustangs last week and won by a score of 10-3.
Head Softball Coach Brock Miller said, “We had a solid hitting performance from top to bottom tonight. Pitcher Emma Miller did an excellent job of hitting location and changing speeds.”
“We will keep on working,” he added. “We have a tough district schedule coming up.”
Lady Tiger Anna Harris— batting sixth in the order—hit a home run over the right center field fence in the game.
COMING UP— The Lady Tigers were set to have a road game against Granger on Tuesday and they will host Mumford at 10 a.m. Thursday.
