Rockdale’s Big Blue baseball went to LaGrange last week and got another win against the Leopards by a final score of 9-6.
The Tigers then played in the Sacred Heart Tournament in Hallettsville coming away with a third-place finish with two players making the All Tournament Team.
The Blue & Gold finished the tournament 2-1 beating Sacred Heart 5-0, Schulenberg 7-4 and losing to St. Pius 3-2.
COMING UP— This week the Tigers will play in the West Tournament on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
Lady Tigers
The Rockdale Lady Tiger softball team had a challenging week last week, going 2-1-2.
They started with a road game against Florence and came out a winner by a final of 6-3.
The trip to Taylor to play in the Taylor Tournament is where it got rough.
The Lady Tigers won against Holland 3-1, had a loss against Thrall 8-0 and then tied against Granger and Bartlett.
COMING UP— This week they were to play against Cameron in Cameron on Tuesday, before hosting Cameron here in Rockdale at 6 p.m. Friday.
