The Rockdale Tigers baseball team lost to the Pflugerville Connally Cougars on the road in their lone game last week. The final was 3-2.
Mason Lillard got the start for Big Blue. He gave up four hits and one run in three innings of work. Lillard struck out seven and walked one.
Reliever Austin Caldwell was tagged with the loss after one and two-thirds innings. He gave up one run (unearned), two hits, struck out two and walked one.
Stephen Good r ich, Greyson Williams and Alex Martinez were noted as providing help on offense.
The Tigers are 2-2 in district play.
THIS WEEK— The Tigers were scheduled to play Little River-Academy at home on Tuesday (after The Reporter deadline), before traveling to Little River- Academy at 7 p.m. Friday.
Lady Tigers
The Rockdale Lady Tigers softball team got busy this week hosting Little River- Academy Tuesday (after The Reporter deadline) and will hit the road to play the Lady Bumblebees again at 6 p.m. Friday.
