It’s been a disappointing season for the Rockdale Lady Tigers softball team. They dropped their last two games against Franklin, 10-0 and 17-2.
The Lady Tigers are currently winless in district play and will wrap up their season against Thrall.
THIS WEEK— Rockdale was scheduled to host Thrall on Tuesday (after The Reporter deadline) and will then play on the road in Thrall at 6 p.m. Thursday.

It’s no doubt been a frustrating season for the Rockdale Big Blue Machine baseball team, especially after last year’s deep run into the playoffs.
The Tigers lost to Franklin at home and on the road last week, 10-0 and 11-0.
Former Rockdale Tiger and head baseball coach Austin Caffey shared, “We have seen a lot of growth and improvements from our guys. We are primarily a young team that has had the expected growing pains at times.”
“We’ve played pretty well defensively but are still working towards consistently bringing together all phases of the game,” he added. “I’m pleased with the way our young group has competed and accepted each challenge that they have faced.”
COMING UP— They will play this week against Thrall—at home on Tuesday, (after The Reporter deadline) and on the road at 7 p.m. Thursday.
