The Rockdale Tigers split games with the Rogers Eagles last week.
Big Blue won at home on Tuesday night, 3-0.
The Tigers’ bats came to life with two outs in the second inning and all three of their runs were scored in this two-out rally.
Pitcher Mario Casarez, the winning pitcher, threw a one-hitter with no runs scored.
Later in the week, Coach Austin Caffey’s squad suffered what is becoming a rare loss. The Tigers lost to Rogers 7-5.
COMING UP— This week Rockdale was to travel on Tuesday to play rival Cameron Yoe, before hosting the Yoemen at 7 p.m. on Friday.
The Friday game is also senior night for Rockdale. Come out and support these winning Tigers!
Lady Tigers
The Rockdale Lady Tigers wrapped up their season last week with a home game against Rogers. They lost 6-1.
Rockdale went winless in district and had only three wins the entire season.
