Tigers 51, Trojans 41 The Rockdale Tigers basketball team won at home against Troy last week. The final was 51-41.
Leading contributors were David Penny with 23 points, five rebounds, one assist; De’Andre Stephens had 11 points, eight rebounds, two assists and three deflections; and Josiah Smith contributed seven points, five rebounds and one assist.
JV— J V G old won against Troy 47-19. JV Blue lost 55-22.
Rattlers 49, Tigers 34 The Tigers had a game at home on Friday against Navasota and lost to the Rattlers 49-34.
Christmas Break
Head basketball Coach Sean Lexima will keep his team busy during the Christmas break by competing in the New Caney Tournament starting Friday.
Lady Tigers
The Rockdale Lady Tigers basketball team lost their first district game against Lexington last week, 58-29.
The Lady Tigers are now 1-1 in district play.
Leading scorers in the game for the Lady Tigers were Trinity Hurd, 11 points, and Tanisha McBride, five points.
COMING UP— Rockdale is off until just after Christmas when they participate in the Smithville Tournament starting Friday.
