A win against rival Cameron never hurts and the Rockdale Tigers basketball team won big on Friday against the Yoe, 80-43.
UP NEXT— Rockdale was scheduled to wrap up their regular season on Tuesday in Lexington (after The Reporter deadline).
Head basketball coach Sean Lexima said, “We are in fourth place, one game ahead of Academy. If we win in Lexington, we are in the playoffs.”
However, if the Tigers lose to the Eagles and if Academy beats Cameron in their final game, Rockdale would play an “in-game.”
The Tigers are 6-5 in district and 11-22 overall. Lexington is 7-4 in district and 11-9 overall.

Lady Tigers
In what turned out to be a challenging year, the Rockdale Lady Tigers finished their regular season last Tuesday night at home with a 53-35 loss to the Rogers Lady Eagles.
Rockdale finished 4-8 in district play, 13-17 overall, and placed fifth in the district. The Lady Tigers are not eligible for any post season play.
