The Tigers suffered two more losses last week. They are now 2-10 in district play and 5-26 overall.
Big Blue took on the Rogers Eagles in a road game and came up short 68-52, before losing to rival Cameron 49-46.
Against the Yoe, standout players for t he T igers w ere Reghan Jackson who had 18 rebounds, four blocks, two assists and one steal; Bryson O’Bryant had 11 points and 11 rebounds; and David Penny had 11 points with three rebounds.
COMING UP— The Blue and Gold was to wrap up the regular season in front of a home crowd Tuesday against Academy who are 5-7. (Results will be in next week’s Reporter.)
Lady Tigers
The Lady Tigers wrapped up their regular season last Tuesday on the road against Rogers.
ROGERS— They had a decisive team victory against the Eagles, the final was 41-32.
Key players for this victory were Ciara Miles with 16 points, Trinity Hurd with 11, T’Niyah Miles and Tanisha McBride with six each.
LEXINGTON— Rockdale then had a “play-in” game against Lexington on Thursday in Caldwell. The winner of this game would clinch a playoff spot.
The Lady Tigers defeated the Eagles 26-21 advancing to the playoffs for the first time since 2016.
TROY— This win set up a seeding game for the Lady Tigers against Troy. This game was played on Saturday in Rogers. The Blue and Gold came up short in this close game. The final was 38-34.
COMING UP— Rockdale was set to play in the bi-district round of the playoffs on Tuesday against Fairfield in Robinson. (Results will be in next week’s Reporter.)
