The Lady Tigers scrimmaged a very strong Waco Connally team last week. This scrimmage ended in a tie, one goal per team.
Coach Shi rley Rodriguez shared, “We see a lot of potential and progress. There are lots of opportunities for these ladies.”
Stand out players were Perla Gonzalez. Gonzalez is proving to be a leader on the field and being moved around in different positions. Lady Tiger Leydi Mata scored the goal.
Coach Rodriguez added, “With many versatile players and a team centered mindset Lady Tiger soccer is looking towards a successful season.”

Tigers
The Tigers took on Waco Connolly in a scrimmage last week. It was a hard loss and the Tigers were unable to score. The final was 1-0.
Coach Gilberto Rodriguez said, “We had a rough first half, but the second half went much better for us. Our passing was good but we were missing the goal.” Coach Rodriguez added, “Our kids understand we need to be more decisive when attacking. We lost but I am very happy with our performance.”
