The Rockdale Tigers soccer squad went 2-0 last week against opponents Cameron and Caldwell. Both games were played at home.
CAMERON— In the game against Cameron, the final score was 1-0.
Tiger Wilmer Sor to scored with an assist by Fernando Pacheco.
CALDWELL— The score was more lopsided against Caldwell; Rockdale won 5-1.
Sorto and Angel Rivera each had two goals. Zeke Castro scored once. Jesus Luna and Christian Mata had assists.
Rockdale is 5-4 in district and 9-4-1 overall.
COMING UP— The Tigers were scheduled to play at home on Tuesday against Manor New Tech and then go on the road to play Salado Friday at 7:30 p.m.
Lady Tigers
The Lady Tigers won two big games last week. They defeated rival Cameron, 1-0, and then took down neighboring Caldwell, 1-0.
Goals in both games were made by Lady Tiger Emely James.
The Lady Tigers are now 4-5 in district and 8-9-1 overall.
NEXT U P— Ro c kdale was scheduled to play against Manor New Tech at home on Tuesday, before playing a road game against Salado at 5:30 p.m. Friday.
