The Rockdale Tiger soccer team rolled into East Texas after they celebrated Christmas to take on the Westwood Panthers from Palestine and left with a tie, 2-2.
NEXT UP— The Tigers will be idle until Jan. 9 when
they will host the Jarrell Cougars at 7 p.m.
Lady Tigers
The Rockdale Lady Tigers soccer team traveled to Palestine to take on the Westwood Panthers after the Christmas break. Despite the loss these Lady Tigers are continuing to grow and are getting prepared for district play that starts later this month. The final score of this game was 2-0.
Head Lady Tiger Soccer Coach Shirley Rodriguez gave a shout out to Perla Gonzalez for being “flexible and competitive in multiple positions” on the field. She added, “Our defense was solid and we stopped a majority of shots that were attempted.”
NEXT UP— The Lady Tiger Soccer team will host their own tournament this week.
