The Rockdale Blue & Gold track teams traveled to compete in the Lexington Relays last week.
The results for the Lady Tigers were: T’Niyah Miles placed second in the shot put with a 35-1 toss and she was also sixth in the discus with a distance of 85-2. The 4x400 team of Trinity Hurd, Lucy Grivas, Kiara Benson and Reginay Hamilton placed fifth with a time of 4:48.77. Hurd was also sixth in the triple jump with a jump of 32-5.
Tigers
The Tiger results were: De’Andre Stephens placed first in the high jump with a 5-10 jump. Stephens also placed second in the triple jump with a 41-1. The Big Blue 4x100 relay team of D. Stephens, A. Pena, S. Gerren and J. Montelongo placed third with a time of 45.17.
COMING UP— Rockdale will next travel to Cameron for the district meet on Wednesday and Thursday.
