The Rockdale Tiger track team competed in the Robinson Relays last week and varsity Tiger Dre Stephens placed second in the high jump.
The junior-varsity 4x100 relay team— Rachaid Wilson, Jayden Davenport, Noah Harper and Amaury O’Bryant—came in first place.
Lady Tigers
The Robinson Relays were good to the Lady Tigers track team as well. Both varsity and JV had success on the track and in the field.
Varsity members Jernee Mitchell had a personal best in the discus of 84’9”, while Trinity Hurd set a personal record in the triple jump of 34’5” to take second place.
JV Lady Tiger Vicki Zientek had a personal best in pole vaulting of 6’6”.
Varsity jumper T’Niyah Miles placed fourth in the triple jump.
The JV’s Shyra Sheppard placed first in the long jump, while Chanel Benson placed first in the triple jump and second place in the long jump.
