The 67th Rockdale Relays treated RHS with mixed results. The Lady Tigers came in seventh place as a team, while the Tigers placed fourth.
The track was kinder to our junior varsity with the boys placing third and the JV girls tied for sixth.
Individual results were as follows: VARSITY BOYS— De’Andre Stephens came in second in both the 100M and 200M. He also placed first in the high jump. Wyatt Smith placed third in the pole vault. The 4x400 relay team of Montelongo, Stephens, Henderson and Gerren placed third.
VARSITY GIRLS— T’Niyah Miles placed first in shot put.
JV BOYS— Erik Sheppard placed first in the 100M and the 400M. Charles Murphy placed first in high jump. Josiah Smith came in second in the 200M and third in the high jump. Bryson O’Bryant placed third in the 100M. Aaron Ponnaiya came in third in the pole vault. The 4x400 relay team of Tovar, Davenport, Harper and Wilson came in third.
JVGIRLS— Shyra Sheppard placed first in the long jump and third in the 200M.
