The Rockdale Lady Tigers volleyball team dropped both matches last week.
They lost to Academy on the road 0-3 and then lost 0-3 at home against Thrall, who is currently ranked No. 9 in the state. Former Lady Tiger and current Head Coach Morgan Laughlin’s squad was competitive in this tough match up—the final scores against Thrall were 13-25, 17-25 and 20-25.
Rockdale had a bye on Tuesday and will host Rogers on Friday in Tiger Gym. The varsity plays at 4:30 p.m.
“We are pretty evenly matched for Rogers,” said Coach Laughlin. “Our girls don’t give up and we are ready for a good game!”
