This past week, the Tiger soccer team was challenged in their first two district games.
They kicked off 26-4A play against newcomer Austin Achieve Academy, who defeated RHS 10-1.
On Friday, the Blue-and-Gold faced defending district champion Austin’s Eastside Memorial who beat them 4-0.
THIS WEEK–The Tigers faced Taylor after press time and host rival Cameron on Friday evening at 7:30 p.m.
LADY TIGERS–Also beginning district, Rock-dale’s girls lost 1-0 to both Achieve and Eastside Memorial.
Coach Kaitlyn Brinkley praised Carla Ugalde and goalie Yarely Navarro for their effort on defense.
THIS WEEK–The Lady Tigers faced Taylor after press time and take on Cameron on Friday evening.
The opening kick-off is scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
