Lady Tiger volleyball held their first official practice with 43 girls attending on Monday morning in the RHS Gymnasium where head coach Kelsey Hudson implied that she liked the way things were going.
“The first two days have been really good and the girls are working hard to get back into shape,” RHS coach Kelsey Hudson said. “We have a lot of work to do, but we’ve seen great leadership and work ethic so far.”
Hudson has all but three players returning from her 2020 playoff team and five of the nine girls back f0r 2021 will be playing their third or fourth season of varsity volleyball.
THIS WEEK—T h e Blue-and-Gold face their first opponent on Friday when they travel to Rogers for a scrimmage with the Lady Eagles, as well as Holland and Jarrell.
The next day, RHS plays in front of the home crowd for the first time when they host a scrimmage with Milam County neighbors Thorndale and Milano. They will also run into Rogers once again as well.
Matches start at 8 a.m.
