All four sub-varsity Tiger football teams fell to Franklin on Thursday.
The RHS junior varsity lost in Franklin, 48-0. According to coach Ethan Brinkley, Eduardo Rivera was the team’s offensive standout due to his two receptions. Standouts on defense were Klay Eschberger and Landon Deason.
RHS eighth grade “A” lost, 39-0. Zachary Muston and Greyson Williams were the team’s offensive standouts while Jeramiah Butler was the lone standout on defense. The Rockdale seventh grade “A” team was also shut out with a 47-0 defeat. Felix Sanchez, Cohen Villareal and Jonathan Fuller were the Blueand- Gold’s offensive standouts while Easton Castaneda was the team’s defensive standouts.
Rockdale’s seventh and eighth grade combined “B” team came the closest to winning on Thursday, losing 28-18.
Jesse Luna Hernandez led the team on offense with two touchdowns and Emiliano Otero, Sebastian Lepe, and Amaury O’Bryant were the team’s standouts on defense.
Al three junior high games were played at Tiger Stadium.
