The Tiger track teams traveled to Ganado for their first meet of the year.
BOYS— Varsit y high jumper De’Andre Stephens came in first place. Carson Eoff brought home a thi rd place finish in high jumping and Jesus Bocanegra placed third in the 1600 and the 3200.
GIRLS JV—
Lady Tiger J V team member Lucy Grivas got third place in the 1600 and the 800, while Brianna Bailey placed third in the triple jump.
BOYS JV— The JV boys team member Ayedan Pena came in third place in the 4x2 and fourth in the 4x1. Amaury O’Bryant had a second place finish in the 200. Shawn Gerren was third in the 4x2 and the triple jump. Charles Murphy was third in the high jump, while Kendrick Henderson was third in the 4x2.
Head Tiger Track Coach Marcus Chalk is excited about his team, “We are off to an incredible start. We are going beyond e x pe c t at ions , achiev ing personal records and ready to compete at a high level. I can’t help but emphasize how our progress has been outstanding. We look forward to showing our skills at this week’s Rockdale Relays.”
ROCKDALERELAYS— The annual Rockdale Relays will start on Thursday for Rockdale Junior High track teams and Rockdale High School will compete Friday.
