The Rockdale 7-on-7 team competed in the Cuero qualifying tournament Saturday and although they went 2-1, did not advance out of pool play. The team has yet to qualify for the state 7-on-7 tournament in College Station, where they have been a mainstay, and despite there being four more qualifying tournaments scheduled, the Tigers are through for the summer. At left is the Tigers’ Jackson Perry, trying to create some separation after hauling in a pass from Jace Robinson.
