Last week, seven members of the 2019 Rockdale Lady Tiger volleyball team earned District 19-3A awards. Freshman setter Yolianna Castillo was named Newcomer of the Year and senior Payton Miller was named to the first team. Junior Anna Harmon and freshman Julie Bartsch were both named to the second team. Seniors Andrea Salazar and Emily Depine and sophomore Haven Jimenez were selected as honorable mentions. Depine, Salazar and Miller were also named to the Academic All-State second team the week prior.
