More than 40 student athletes came out last week for Rockdale soccer camp, where RHS coaches Gilberto Rodriguez and Shirley Lozano taught area kids basic soccer skills.
“We ran the camp like a beginning of the year practice,” Rodriguez said. “Just dribbling the ball first, then through the cones.
“We also did foot work drills, passing, shooting and had scrimmages toward the end of each day.”
The camp took place at Tiger Stadium during the evening hours.
