The 13th annual competition and fish fry is set for Saturday, July 11.
Golfers can register for $75 a person, which includes a meal ticket. Additional meal tickets are $15. Participants must be 18 and older to play.
Morning and noon tee times are available.
Sponsorship fees will $75 and include the sponsor’s sign on the hole and a meal ticket. Prize money will be awarded to the first through third place fi n i s h e r s .

Former RHS golfer is three time scholar
Former RHS student and current University of Mary Hardin-Baylor golfer Annie Hasselbach has been named a 2020 WGCA All-American Scholar.
The award is given to student athletes who achieve both academic and athletic excellence over a semester.
Hasselbach is a junior interdisciplinary studies major. She posted a stroke average of 84.75 and had one top ten finish this past season.
This is the third time Hasselbach has received the All-American scholar honor. During her time at RHS,
During her time at RHS, Hasselbach was a four-year letter winner in golf and also lettered in basketball. She is the daughter of current Rockdale High School Principal Brent Hasselbach and Leslie Hasselbach.
Aggie Moms host golf tournament
The 8th Annual Milam County Aggie Moms Golf Tournament has been rescheduled for Aug 1. Shot gun start times will be at 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. at the Rockdale Country Club.
The event is open to golfers of all genders and ages. The fee to play is $75 per player. The $75 includes a mulligan and a move up. Lunch and carts will be provided.
Single players will be paired with a team on arrival.
“It’s a great opportunity to support the community. You don’t have to be an Aggie to play,” said Franci Denio, an Aggie Mom member for 10 years. “There’s a lot of good prizes, good food, and all proceeds go to the Milam County scholarship fund.”
