Tiger booster golf tourney canceled
Due to COVID-19 precautions, Saturday’s 13th annual Rockdale Tiger Booster Club Golf Tournament has been canceled, however, the fish fry will continue with some modifications.
The fish fry will be a drive-thru at the RHS field house parking lot starting at 4 p.m. on Saturday.
Each plate will be $10, which includes fish, hushpuppies and cold slaw. Plates will be served until sold out.
“Come out for some good food and support the kids,” RHS Athletic Director and Head Football Coach Jacob Campsey said.
Sponsorships are still available for $75. Each sponsor will receive two meal tickets and have a sign made for them.

Aggie Moms delay tournament a month
The eighth annual Milam County Aggie Moms Golf Tournament has been rescheduled for Aug 1.
Fee for golfers of all ages is $75, which includes a mulligan and move up. Lunch and carts will be provided. Shot gun start times are set for 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. at the Rockdale Country Club. Single players will be paired with a team on arrival.
Trophies will be awarded to the first, second and third place teams.
