7TH GRADE A TEAM—T he Rockd a le Junior High 7th Grade A Team defeated the Cameron Yoemen 8-7 on Thursday.
De’andre Nunn connected with Brody Willard on a 60-yard touchdown pass for the only score of the game. Willard converted the two-point conversion.
Offensive standouts included Nunn and Adam Aboytes.
Defensive standouts included Landon Deason, Mason Lillard and Stephen Goodrich.
8TH GRADE A TEAM—The Rockdale 8th Grade A Team fell to the Cameron Yoemen 6-32.
Tim Grice scored the Tigers only touchdown with a 48-yard run in the second quarter.
Offensive standouts included Grice, Ezequiel Castro, and Klay Eschberger.
Defensive standouts included Anthony Richards-Embree and Francisco Reyes.
7TH AND 8TH B TEAM—The Rockd a le Junior High 7th and 8th B Team was defeated by the Cameron Yoemen 6-20 on Thursday.
Cesar Rodriguez scored the Tiger’s lone touchdown of the day on a five-yard run in the second quarter.
Offensive standouts included: Marcus Avila and Ragan Roberts.
FORMER RHS GOLFER—Former RHS student and current University of Mary Hardin-Baylor golfer Annie Hasselbach scored her career best round of 74 at Squaw Valley in Glen Rose.
Her play helped the Lady Crusaders win their second tournament of the season.
During her time at RHS, Hasselbach was a four-year letter winner in golf and also lettered in basketball. She is the daughter of current Rockdale High School Principal Brent Hasselbach and Leslie Hasselbach.
