Rockdale Girls Softbal sign ups on Saturday
Rockdale Girls Softball League will have a registration day this Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the youth softball complex.
The field is located at 622 County Road 305 in Rockdale.

Beason shows out at Fort Worth rodeo
Thorndale High School student Kaylee Beason left the Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo with the award for Beefmaster Intermediate Champion Heifer, for Lyssys Prada, the animal she raises in Milam County.
RJH 8A takes down Cameron, 46-14
Rockdale Junior High’s eighth-grade “A” team got the school’s lone win on Thursday evening, obliterating Cameron, 46-14.
Alex Cooper led the Tigers with 11 points while De’andre Nunn and Brody Willard each had 10.
The RJH eighth-grade “B” team lost 17-14, 7A lost 42-21 and 7B fell 37-18.
Tiger teams return to action in Rogers on Feb. 10.
They wrap up the season on Valentine’s Day in Academy.
