The 10U Blu Sox (top photo) from Rockdale Youth Baseball Association will play in a district game this week in Crawford. The 12U Astros (bottom photo) will also play a district game in Belton. Both teams won first place in their divisions. We wish you the best!
Rockdale Lady Tiger star pitcher Emma Miller is working hard at getting better as she plays softball this summer. Her 15U softball team—the Scrappers—is headed to the state tournament for the second year in a row. Miller has been pitching and playing shortstop and recently had a game where she hit home runs.
Lille Hartsough played for the Milano Eaglets in the district playoffs this summer. Lillie is the daughter of former Tiger great Leslie Starnes and granddaughter of Denise Starnes and Kerry Starnes.
