SEGUIN—Last week Texas Lutheran University announced via Twitter that Austin Falke would lead the Bulldogs as the school’s new basketball coach.
Fifteen years prior, Falke led the Thorndale Bulldogs as a player to a Class 1A state championship.
The 2007 THS grad played at Stephen F. Austin and has been an assistant at TLU under former coach Mike Whacker since 2014.
Texas Lutheran is a Division III program that plays in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference.
