On Monday, Thorndale High School junior Stryker Leschber was named as an honorable mention on the Texas Sportswriters Association’s Class 2A All-State team.
As a 6’4”, 220-pound defensive end, Leschber was a big part of the Bulldog defense with 96 total tackles, 30 pressures and 20 tackles-for-loss during the 2020 season. He was also picked for the District 12-2A first team on both sides of the ball as an inside receiver and as a defensive end.
Leschber has also seen interest from Division I football programs, with an offer from Columbia University coming last week.
