COMING UP— Thorndale will hit the road against Rockdale, play in the Dodd City Tournament and then travel to Lampasas before hosting the early December Thorndale Tournament.

The Lady Bulldogs 2-0, red-hot start came to an end recently as the Rockdale Lady Tigers traveled to Thorndale and beat the hosting Lady Dogs 42-12.

Head Girls Basketball Coach Doug Franklin said, “Rockdale played efficiently on offense and they put a lot of pressure on us. There were some things we have done in other games that we did not do in this game and that hurt us.” “We gave up too many points by letting them take the ball from us in the back court,” she continued. “We missed a lot of shots early in the game; we just could not get the ball in the basket.”

Coach Franklin added, “We will work towards doing some things that will keep us out of this situation in the future.”

COMING UP— The Lady Dogs next games are on the road in Moody, at home against Troy and then they will play in the Tilden Tournament.

The Lady Bulldogs are now 2-1 for the season.
