Early in the week the Thorndale Lady Dog's suffered a loss against Troy on the road. Troy won 46-25.
Thorndale then went 2-2 in the Moody Tournament. They played Live Oak Classical out of Waco and lost 42-26. The Lady Dogs played against a non-varsity opponent and won 45-34, before losing to Axtell 39-25. They wrapped up the weekend by winning a second time against host Moody, 46-22.
COMING UP— Bartlett was to come to town to play on Tuesday, before Thorndale travels to Tilden to play in the Tilden Tournament starting Thursday. Games times will be announced.
Bulldogs
The Thorndale Bulldogs are 5-2 so far this basketball season.
Last week they hosted the Rockdale Tigers and won 70-54, before going on the road to compete in the Fayetteville Tournament where they went 2-2.
Thorndale had wins against Flatonia, 62-35, and Brazos Christian, 53-26, but suffered losses against Somerville, 60-48, and Fayetteville, 39-40.
