The Thorndale Lady Dogs won both of their games in the bi-district round of postseason play. The undefeated district champs beat Harper 8-2 and 11-10.
AREA— Thorndale is now scheduled to play Danbury in another best of three series starting with game one at 7 p.m. Thursday at Columbus High School. Game two will be at 5 p.m. Friday and game 3, if needed, will follow 30 minutes after.
The Danbury Lady Panthers finished their season with only one district loss and beat Iola last week to advance in their playoff run.
Bulldogs
The undefeated district champion Thorndale baseball team had a busy week wrapping up their regular season.
They finished in true Bulldog style winning all four games. Thorndale led off by beating Chilton in a doubleheader, 20-0 and 16-0. The Bulldogs then beat Mumford, 10-9, in 10 innings and they finished off Holland on the road, 17-4.
BI-DISTRICT— The 12-0 Bulldogs will now start bi-district playoff action by facing off against Mason. This best of three series will start at 5 p.m. Thursday at Manor High School. Game two is scheduled to be played after game one and game three, if necessary, will be at 12-noon Saturday.
