The Thorndale Lady Dogs finished their regular season last week with a win over Rosebud-Lott. The victory included Karis Ginn hitting a home run.
COMING UP— Thorndale finished 15-1 and will face Mason in postseason play starting Friday with games at 5 and 7 p.m. at Lago Vista High School. If a third game is necessary, it will be played at 12-noon on Saturday at Lago Vista.
Bulldogs
The Thorndale Bulldogs won their road game last week against Rosebud-Lott, 6-0.
This makes Thorndale 11-1 and in first place in district with a 23-1-1 record overall.
Players of the game were Kaden Kovar, who had 2 singles, a BB and two RBIs; Jaxson Eschberger, the winning pitcher, threw seven innings, gave up one hit, had zero runs scored with 16 Ks; and Kade Becker, who had an RBI double, a BB and scored one run.
COMING UP— The Bulldogs were to celebrate senior night on Tuesday in front of a home crowd against Holland. The final regular season game is at 7 p.m. Friday in Bremond.
