THORNDALE HIGH SCHOOL POWERLIFTING

REGIONAL POWERLIFTING— Congratulations to all of the Thorndale Lady Dog student athletes that competed in the recent regional powerlifting event at Dublin High School. Jordyn Stutts (center) earned the opportunity to move onto the state competition. Stutts took first place in the 148 weight class and earned Best Squat, Best Bench and Overall Lifter in the Light Platform. Stutts also broke regional records in squat (410 pounds) and bench (275 pounds). Other Lady Dogs placing in their individual weight classes were Irene Flores, third; Belle Roberson, fourth; Riley Shock, fourth; and Alayna Ramirez, eighth. Hadley Wagner was the alternate.
