Cong ratulat ion s to Thorndale High School netters who competed in the recent district tournament held in Thrall.
Girls’ singles champion was Katelynn Zrubek with Hestin Ellington placing second.
Boys’ singles champion was Kolton Zrubek, while Issac Blair was second.
In girls’ doubles, Hadley Meadors and Audrie Jordan placed second and Aylin Alfaro and Emily Northcutt were fourth.
In boys’ doubles, Ethan Schramm and Garrett Schramm placed first and Jacob Beardsley and Jacob Jackson were second.
I n mi x e d d oubl e s action, Reese Cloud and Luciano Ruiz placed second, while Bell Roberson and Layne Harkins finished fourth.
Regionals are May 7-9 in Corpus Christi.
