Thorndale powerlifters traveled to compete in the San Saba Powerlifting Meet last week.
The Bul ldogs team placed third overall. Devan Cuba received the award for Most Outstanding Heavy Lifter and Marcus Shaw received the award for Most Outstanding Lifter on the light platform.
Lady Dogs that placed second at the meet in their weight class were: Irene Flores, Belle Roberson, Liliana Munoz and Riley Shock.
The Bulldogs that placed in their individual weight classes were: Marcus Shaw, Deven Cuba, first place; Jett Frei, Jacob Beardsley, second place; and Zack Smith finished third.
