Thorndale senior Carson McCoy won the state championship in Austin last week in the 200M dash with a time of 21.8.
McCoy competed this year in the 100M dash and was the silver medalist, coming in second with a time of 10.7.
He was also part of the 4x100 relay team that fell short of the platform because of an injury.
This was his second trip to Austin to run in the state meet.

PREUSSE— Thorndale Lady Dog Bethany Preusse finished in second place in discus and was awarded a silver medal at the recent state track meet in Austin.
Preusse also placed eighth in shot put.

WHITE— Thorndale Bulldog Everton White ran a personal best time of 10.89 seconds to come in fourth place in the 100M dash at the state track meet. This is the same event McCoy was runner-up in.
