Three Thorndale Bulldogs have been named All-State by the Texas High School Baseball Coaches Association.
Junior Scott Guzman was named to the first team as a second baseman.
Guzman hit .432 with 33 runs batted in and 42 runs scored.
Senior Coleby Driver was a second team selection as a pitcher and senior Logan Fisher was a third team pick at third base.
Thorndale was ranked No. 1 in Class 2A most of the season and made it to the regional finals for the second straight season and was knocked out by eventual state champion Big Sandy.
The Bulldogs posted a 31-7-1 record in 2018.
Lewis
Milano junior pitcher Jenna Lewis was chosen All-State by the Texas Girls Softball Coaches Association.
Lewis had 208 strikeouts against just 15 walks with a 1.09 ERA in 2018.
