Thorndale’s Natalie Newton gets ready to serve earlier this season. The Lady Dog volleyball team played in the Little River-Academy tournament this past weekend where they beat Class 4A La Vega. THS also beat neighbor to the west Rockdale last Tuesday and neighbor to the east Taylor on Friday. They face Lago Vista at 4 p.m. in the Bulldog Gymnasium.
